Google Hot Trends is one valuable weapon in the arsenal of search optimization tools. Search one or multiple words to return volume in a time-line and bar graphs for major regions, cities and languages. For example, “blog tips” turned-up the following graph:

That is pretty cool! The listing of hot trends gave me a number of things that I hadn’t heard of yet.
There are some amazing tools available online now. Google seems to stay on top of snatching them up.
