Robust WordPress Form Plug-in

Every once in a while I find the right solution that truly meets my need and delivers on what it promises. Today, that solution was the cforms WordPress plug-in from deliciousdays.com. I’ve used a number of other forms, but this one offered extensive customization, multiple form instances, anti-spam protection, email notification and drops contact to a database. The data reporting feature is nice as well with downloadable report based on submission criteria you select. Very nice indeed.

When I moved over to WordPress, I took it as a given that there was support for response forms. So imagine my surprise to see that there was no such support.

I was a bit miffed / disappointed, so wrote my own.

That said, I might give this a squint some time to see if it’s of benefit to me in the long term.

At least they have CAPTCHA support in place…

Wayne, yes WordPress while outrageously popular has it’s shortcomings for sure. Plug-ins vary greatly and support is minimal; still with the large user-base I believe it will continue to evolve in the right direction. This specific solution is definitely the most eloquent I’ve found to-date.

I wish I would of stumbled across this early before I wrote my post for today. It would be a lot handier than an e-mail contact form.
