Just a few weeks ago I stumbled onto
Notepad++. I was looking for a quick loading, no frills code editor to replace Windows Notepad and
Notepad++ did the trick. It has a nice features set, a good number of additional built-in features and available plug-ins.

Keeping track of a plethora of usernames and passwords is an ever increasing challenge. The idea of storing these online is laughable when the site is begging for a hacker to poke their nose in and retrieve that valuable data.
KeePass offers an open source solution (which means it’s free to use) with some fairly stout features. The database can be stored on your local machine, a shared server or external media.
