Entrecard is the newest blog / ad exchange network on the block and it is off to a roaring start. The easy to place widget is your key to earning Entrecard credits (ec) which can then be used to advertise your own card on any blog in the network.
Whether your goal is to boost your traffic numbers, find new readers, or find new sites to read, you can likely do this through the Entrecard system. Get more information from their user guide, and share your Entrecard experiences with us in the comments.

Pownce discussion about comment window size. This nifty bookmarklet from
themaninblue.com allows you to resize any comment field on a website. This has come in especially handy for online html editors like WordPress or html email vendors where you are confined to very narrow form field.

Want to encourage your children to blog in a safe environment? Not excited about the ilk that hangs out at places like MySpace? As a home school dad, I have my 12 year-old and soon my 10 year-old blogging using Tumblr. Check out Gloriana’s Bookblog for a real-life example. To enable comments, I used a customized template and inserted a link to a Haloscan comment account. When setting-up the account in Haloscan, choose the last install option for “None of the Above/Manual” to retrieve the snippit of code to drop just below the post in Tumblr. Set the comment notifications to come to you in the email setting. Last thing to do is use Google Analytics to track the traffic. Nothing will get your kids writing like comments and traffic. Heck, their no different from us.

One of the latest widgets available for your blog is called BlogRush. This new system allows bloggers to get the latest topic from their blog posted on other blogs.This is one system where being an early adopter really will pay-off. Every time someone clicks on the badge on your site and signs-up, your view ratio of views on blog widget impressions increases. (Notice the link to TechFires on the badge). If you run a blog, do yourself a favor and jump aboard now and claim your badge.
